January 22, 2007, Monday – Editing session on ISO/IEC 19763-2 (Bowker Room at Faculty Club)

January 23, 2007, Tuesday - XMDR Project (Heyns Room)

9:00 am           Introduction of participants and opening remarks

9:15 am           XMDR prototype and content loading: demonstration, discussion, plans for future work

10:30 am         Morning Break

10:45 am         XMDR prototype continued – plans for web services, UI, APIs

11:45 am         Lunch -  no host lunch from Faculty Club, bring back to meeting room, general discussion

12:45 pm         Presentation/discussion about BioPortal and potential collaboration - Archana Vembakam 

1:45 pm           Discussion of limits of Relational Technology as input to SC 32 Clearwater Florida Study Period meeting. Discussion of how to progress the proposals for 11179 E3 update on interactions with the editor. This drives the XMDR software design. This topic is to be continued during the Friday editing session, with focus on the model.

January 24, 2007, Wednesday - XMDR Project (Seaborg Room)

9:00 am           Content and mapping- Report on status of mapping SIC - NAICS. Status of content acquisition, plans for loading content, and plans for acquiring additional content. Discussion of white paper and presentation on approaches to mapping.

10:00 am         Discussion of requirements for “representation class” functionality--as used in 11179-3 (E2)--and alternative approaches for modeling and prototyping the functionality for Edition 3 of 11179-3.

10:30 am         Morning Break

10:45 am         Project plan for 2007--Statements by each organization; discussion of NCI plans for terminology/caDSR & possibly ebXML

11:15 am         Discussion of interactions with other groups--W3C, Ecoterm, Ecoinformatics, Open Forum 2007. Plans for meetings and conferences.

11:45am          Lunch, no host lunch from Faculty Club, bring back to meeting room, general discussion

January 25, 2007, Thursday -- Presentations about technology and related work (Seaborg Room)

9:15 am           Presentation by Harold Solbrig, Apelon, Review of TC 37 standards and their potential utility for XMDR. Report on his exploration of MediaWiki.  Discussion of closer integration of LexGrid and XMDR. Possible presentation by Mayo Clinic about LexGrid.

12:30 pm         Presentation by Elisa Kendall, Sandpiper Software, about ODM (recently adopted as an OMG standard); application of ODM and tools for translation of 11179-3 UML –> OWL  ->UML round trip; and potential collaboration with the W3C Semantic Web Deployment Group
